A. What you need when you arrive to the airport?
  • Plan your trip in advance to the airport carefully as you plan your air travel.
  • For any passenger, baggage screening will take its course of time.
  • Passengers should arrive at the airport two hours before for the departure of a domestic flight and three hours before for an International Flight.
  • Passengers should confirm with their respective airline company about the information of their scheduled Flight Details.
  • Passengers are advised to carry true identifications for a safe travel.


B. What you need to know before checking in your baggages?
    While travelling, it is important for a passenger to follow a few simple rules regarding checked and carry on baggage.
     
  • Passengers should not accept or carry any items from any unknown persons.
  • Passengers should report to any unattended items in and around the airport or aircraft to the security officer immediately.
  • Always have control of your baggage to prevent the introduction of any unintended or dangerous items in your baggage without your knowledge.
  • For any passenger one carry on bag and one personal item ( Brief case, Hand bag, Laptop bag, Diapers etc ) are permitted, passengers who have their carry on bags may be subject to additional screening at the gate.
  • Passengers our advised to protect their check in luggage with secure wrap services available at most international airports to prevent illegal tampering, mistreatment, accidental opening, weather etc.
  • Passenger should mark their name, contact address, phone numbers on their baggage’s both in and out, incase their travel tag gets lost.

C. Passenger should be aware of the airline check in Rules.

  • Any given passenger should enquire with their airline about their check in procedure.
  • A passenger should be prepared to answer precautionary questions from their respective airline personal about their checked and carry on baggage.

  • D. Passenger to be prepared for a screening check point?
    Under no circumstances should you attempt to pass through a screening check point with a sharp object of any kind dangerous products like as scissors, knives, ice pick, cork screw, nail clippers, screw drivers etc in your possession. A passenger should pack any sharp item in there checked baggage. Kindly, note that hand pistol and other weapons are prohibited by law and will be confiscated.
